Does the Pope solve our traffic problems?
Thou shall not drive under the influence of alcohol. Thou shall respect speed limits. Thou shall not consider a car an object of personal glorification or use it as a place of sin.
The Vatican took a break from strictly theological matters on Tuesday to issue its own rules of the road, a compendium of do’s and don’ts on the moral aspects of driving and motoring. A 36-page document called "Guidelines for the Pastoral Care of the Road" contains 10 Commandments covering everything from road rage, respecting pedestrians, keeping a car in good shape and avoiding rude gestures while behind the wheel.
Jebel Ali gets the Queen
Jebel Ali Cave - a historic place?
Jebel Ali: You will not find ‘Ali’s Cave’ with its sleeping bats hanging from the ceiling and the ground littered with spent bullet shells and quartz stones, in any tourist brochure or off-roader books.
It is nestled amid the vast expanse of orange and white sea of sand east of Jebel Ali and 30km from downtown Dubai. Jebel Ali, which means Ali’s Mountain, is not really a mountain but a stone hill. There are no human prints in the sand at the entrance to the cave, but if you look closely, you will find traces of fox and lizard prints and claw prints of birds. Nearby you can see the huge dishes of the satellite receiving station.

The building, named Antilla after a mythical island, will have a total floor area greater than Versailles and be home for Mr Ambani, his mother, wife, three children and 600 full-time staff.
