   Interesting idea. But the spelling is terrible, and to have credibility in it should be fixed.

   I hope that your blog will do more then allow more complaining about Dubai and the problems. What is needed is a grass roots movement for change.

   The labourers - use your blog as the location to help them. Let people join into the protest. Ask them NOT to buy any properties in Dubai. That will take very little time I suspect to see a change.

   K9 Friends, ask people to stand up and insist that the country give them and Feline Friends charity status and land. They are keeping dogs and cats healthy and off the street. Otherwise, Dubai will start having animals run across SZR and dead carcasses to clean up.

   Be a blog for change - not for complaining.

   If the labourers are getting such a hard time, then why aren’t they spreading the word back to their own countries? Bottom line is, there are tens of thousands ‘would be’ labourers salivating at the thought of COMING TO Dubai! The construction companies don’t care for their current workers as they know that replacing them is easy. It is up to the home governments to make a stand by a) creating an economy where workers do not need to go overseas for a living and (b) inform the population of the injustices that go on in ‘The Mirage’ aka Dubai.

   As for K9 friends, this plight should be addressed to the international media. Again, ‘The Mirage’ will only take notice when it’s oh so important image is at risk.
